Form 40 is also online but it is to be filled by the Sponsor and not by the applicant.

The applicant (my partner) has to fill Form 47SP and the sponsor (myself) has to fill Form 40SP I believe. It shows under recommended forms for my documents.

This is for subclass 309.

Just need to make sure that this form is needed

Hi guys, new to this forum. Applied for 309 in June 2019... just wondering, is there anyway to email anyone at immigration with a question? Status of application is currently “further assessment” and no emails for RFI or anything so nobody to direct an email to. Have tried calling but didn’t quite get the information I was looking for. Also, does “further assessment” mean a CO has been assigned?

Further assessment means "we are assessing the information we requested from you".

There could be various people looking at each case, not necessarily just one case officer being assigned.

Yeah so the sponsor fill the online 40sp. Not the paper based.

How do people find out where their visa is being processed?? Is it simply that the country you apply from is where it is processed? Thanks.

Sponsor Eligibility

Hi All
I am new to the forum. Need your valuable inputs on this 309 visa

I am a PR( granted in December 2018) living in Offshore since then. and only spent 3 days as Permanent resident in the whole year. Before that I was in Sydney for 3 years on Work visa.

Now I am married for 6 months and staying together with the partner. I want to apply spouse visa for my wife. However, I came across this condition on immi gov website and feel that I don’t meet eligibility for sponsor after reading this. Can you please advise.

There probably is one, but it might vary for each country. Ours, for the PMV300, was in Manila.

You could try this, but no idea if your enquiry type is covered.

I have gone through a similar situation, however i got a multiple entry...have reapplied for a visitor visa since June 2019...but didint get it till date.

They asked me to go out of the country for them to finalise the outcome of the tourist visa, so i am going outside mid jan till mid feb. Will tell u about the outcome

I have applied for my 309 may 2019 too....no sign of CO. Dont worry be positive...we will all get it

So i suggest that you do apply for a visitor visa however mention that she applied for a 309 and needs to be with her husband on a family stream..that's what i did.
Thanks a lot hope the same its been a long and painful wait...
