Compared to other countries, London seems to be slow.

Hi all - hoping someone here can help. We are going to Australia on an eVisitor visa on the 14th of February and we want to inform our Case Officer so that they can inform us to leave the country before the Partner visa is granted.

We tried to contact our Case Officer by replying directly to their email but we haven't had a reply. Does anybody have some advice about how we can make sure they got the message?

They know when you're in/out of the country because of they're movements system that tracks entries and exits. You could send another email to global feedback unit I guess, but don't expect a reply.

Does everybody get a case officer? We applied for a de facto partner visa Sept 27, got the RFI on December 13, and as of today Jan 29 have supplied everything except for one character assessment. No case officer assigned. I'm American if that makes a difference... thanks

You may get different case officers each time your application is looked at. At least one has done so, to do the RFI in December.

Some people, who front load everything, may only have one case officer contact, the one who sends the grant.
