Hi all,

Firstly I want to congratulate to all applicants that have granted their own visa. Feel happy and thankful for you guys.

But unfortunately, for Me and my husband got a bad news and it’s a saddest day for us. We’ve been waiting for 22 months for the decision. Our application got refused and need to appeal for AAT. The reason is:-

1. Your parents do not recognise or support the marriage. There appears little to no involvement of each party’s family members, despite the fact the you and your sponsor both currently live with family members.

2. The Case Officer is not satisfied that there is recognition or support of the relationship from your or your sponsor’s family and close friends

3. Only a few people attended the wedding ceremony

We really know that this matter will come out and this will be the big issues for the CO making the decision.

We don’t have our own family support because of our religion differences and our status also our backgrounds. My husband from Malaysia. That’s the reason why our own family against our relationship. For us it’s not a big deal and we both love each other and care. We willingly to overcome everything together.

We are old enough to support our own life and family. And we already give our financial statements that show nearly 100k aud inside our joint account. So, why need to judge for the family support or decision?

Now, we are on hard situations and we don’t know what the next step that we need to take.

If you guys have a same problems or issues like us. Please do help us and give us an advice. Oh God, please.. 😔🙏

Thank you in advance.
