Are the exemptions that are being granted for the full duration of the international travel ban or they state a month on the actual grant to say that the exemption is only valid from xyz month to xyz month.

Cheers
There is no expiry date when you receive the travel exemption approval. I requested and received my exemption to travel in March however managed to arrive in June.. The exemption will be recorded in their system under your passport so won't be a problem..

I Was wondering if there is an exemption for 309 onshore applicants to be granted visa while they are onshore keeping in mind COVID travel restrictions.

Views and similar experiences please ??
Same here, I'm onshore right now and Applied on 8th July 2019 and no update yet regarding 309. RFI asked around 3rd Feb regarding s56 request form only.

Applied through agent in Chandigarh, India

hi All, please update your timeline in the myimmitracker portal in the partner-visa-tracker forum as it gives a good indication on visa processing times.

Hi all, just wanted to know if anyone has been granted an exemption to travel? And how long it took? Have a 309 in application in progress. I’m in Europe with partner and infant daughter - trying to get them to Australia ASAP as we are running out of funds. Have applied for Citizenship by Descent for our daughter and 2 x Visitor 600 Visas as think I the citizenship will take a while to approve.
Many thanks!

Finally my turn, 309 GRANTED
There is a light at the end of the tunnel!!!
Surprisingly I had a very good experience with this visa. People warned me about long processing times coming from Pretoria, but I did not experience it.

Sharing my timeline:
Applied on the 3.05.2019
Came on visitor visa on the 07.05.2019
Medicals 26.05.2019
Police check front loaded twice, 03.05.2019 and February 2020
Advice that visa is ready to be finalised and I need to be offshore 25.06.2020
Left country 07.07.2020
Visa granted 07.07.2020
Came back 09.07.2020
