It's too bad you see it that way. When I was getting ready to apply for the 309/100 it was users like JandE whose honesty to my questions that helped me revisit our evidence and apply with the strongest application we possibly could. Sometimes certain things are taken out of context or the wrong way, especially over the internet. [/quote]

That is true and that is fine. I know when we were going through it, that's what we wanted. However, the process isn't all rainbows and cupcakes. People need to know that.

So? They did apply for a partner visa, the onshore version of what many people are going through. Their experience and advice has been invaluable to many here.

Glad you think someone who has been able to help others in a partner visa application has irrelevant opinions. You watch, if people like JandE, Ampk and even myself who have been around here for a couple of years, go away, there is a lot less quality, free advice to be had.

I'm sorry you're all going through this. These are uncertain times, and in not so many words, they fucking suck. You want to be in Australia with your families and I get that. I do. However, personally attacking someone, telling them to top themselves or just being cunts isn't going to get you what you want, it isn't going to get you to Australia sooner.

Chill the fuck out.

Edit: Having said all that, I have been through it too, 309 to 100 and if you have questions, I am happy to answer them as honestly as I can.

Considering all the travel restrictions, Has anyone considered applying for on shore spouse visa while offshore 309 application in progress? My partner is currently in Australia on visitor visa 600 and doesn't have 8503 condition. My agent says we will need to withdraw the offshore one but what if we don't?

The $$ hit will be huge but isn't the cost of travel and quarantine and possible risk of infection also a factor?

Mate its about time you get off your pedastal.
This is a public forum and therefore people are entitled to their opinions.
Not everyone is going to agree with your opinion nor is everyone going to agree with the petition

There is absolutely no need whatsoever for your personal attacks
You really are showing your lack of intelligence by resorting to schoolyard bullying

Is this how you and your partner are going to act in Australian society?

^^^another Fan of negativity, seriously don get obsessed with this forum.

Help, be positive or dont come here, point is dont tell 309/300 applicants that this is only way, that we will have to suffer, people make govt, Govt does not make people, now more people are getting aware of massive delays partner visas have caused,

news. media, MPs are also jumping and helping, this is all about to change, be part of the change and not the old non democratic thinking.

have some empathy ( we know u have none ), dont hide behind keyboards and just say "oh, you will have to wait", if you can help, most welcome , otherwise vent your OCD somewhere esle.

no brainer, that a "delay" is "delay", migration law has been bypassed, its all over the news.

genuinie applicants should not suffer, this process needs an overhaul, people will fight, you cant stop the truth, if people are suffering, dont tell them to wait and ait n wait, we are all humans.

Mate, easy to say when you are sitting behind a keyboard and just yell out that "oh, this the way, you will have to wait 2 years."

Aussies will no longer stay quiet, till end of time, they will keep finding love out of Aus, and keep on bringing in thier partners.

basic human right, not a rocket science :
