SC 100 granted for me and 2 daughters today. What a Christmas gift!! Question, how long do you have to wait to apply for citizenship?

Residence Requirements – Australian Citizenship Act 2007
To satisfy the residence requirements you must have:
• 4 years lawful residence in Australia. This period must include 12 months as a permanent resident immediately before making an application for Australian citizenship. Lawful residence means residence in Australia on a temporary or permanent visa: and
• absences from Australia of no more than 12 months in total in the 4 years prior to application, including not more than 90 days in the 12 months immediately prior to application.

Just a quick update from me... Hubby was granted his permanent partner visa today (just shy of 8 months)!!!! So excited! Keeping my fingers crossed for the rest of you that it happens just as quick! Thank you for all the support over the months! :)

Thank you! They gave him a100. We've been married for 14 years and have 2 children, so I suppose that's why.

Any one waiting for offshore 309 visa in Fiji. i have have been waiting for 7 months now and still no response.

Hey Guys! Just an update letting you know that my partner's 309 visa was granted on the 29th December. Just over 8 months! Very excited!

Hi to all, well were still waiting applied for 309/100 visa for husband through berlin 23 october wich is close to 14 1/2 months now. Came back to australia in september husband came to with 3 month tourist visa. Just before christmas he left to go back to greece.asfor his tv was to expire. Very sad very depress not being togother and still no word, silence,

The general timeframe for PV 309 is between 9-12 months. But from Fiji it could be longer if it's a HR country. Have you or were you requested to complete FORM 80?
