the interview was very successful and take about 15min. And CO said I need to wait as currently processing time. It's very hard for me to wait the decision with checking email a thousand time everyday.

Are visa applicants or sponsors usually interviewed?

Depends where you lodge. Some embassies have a policy to interview majority of applicants. Low risk embassies very rarely interview.

Hello guys

I have a question concerning the medical examination.
I am from Germany but there is no panel doctor near me, I have to travel either way more than 3 hours. So my question is if anyone knows which doctor is the cheapest in Germany?

Thanks

Hi Guys!

So happy, today I checked my email and the visa grant notice has been arrived!! Yay! I applied my 309-100 visa on Jun 29th 2015 (offshore from Indonesia) and granted today, Feb 25th 2015 sooo...less than 8 months (earlier than expected). I have to make my first entry to Aus by Jun 15th this year. Best of luck to all of you! My advice, don't really think about the application, the more you think the more you get stressful LOL

Has anyone here applied or been granted a 309 from Thailand?
How long have you been waiting or how long until you got the grant notice?

I've been waiting 6 months.. How do I know if it's progressed at all?

I see the same message in the ImmiAccount:

"This application will be eligible for consideration for permanent residence 2 years from lodgement (commencement date).

This application has been received by the department and has been placed in a queue. Partner category visa applications are processed in the order of the date on which the application was received (lodgement date). Individual processing times will vary depending on a range of factors.
"

Hi qldguy, in my opinion 6 months is still deemed early to worry about your partner's application. The processing time is expected to be 12months - eventhough could be earlier than that, in my case it is 8 months). Two things to notice, has your partner submitted the police check? Has she done the medical check up? If those things have been done, then the next steps are praying (if you are religious, lol) and most importantly waiting for the decision. The case officer will most likely contact your partner if they need additional docs (in my case it was marriage certificate). If they don't make any contacts, i think they are just currently processing your application.

Thanks sugarush, yes we did the Health and Police checks months before submitting the application. In the 8 months you waited, did you get any update, such as being assigned a case officer? Was there any open line of communication?
