Thanks sugarush, yes we did the Health and Police checks months before submitting the application. In the 8 months you waited, did you get any update, such as being assigned a case officer? Was there any open line of communication?

Cheers. Yes, I had been communicating with my CO through emails. There wasn't really a formal email assigning who my case officer was because I've got my replies from different names. There was a certain group email in which I had to send my queries regarding the application. I didn't experience any phone/direct interviews as some people experience though.

My husband and I had lodged our offshore Partner Visa subclass 309 / 100 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 6 April 2016. We had received our acknowledgement email on the following day. The waiting begins. Best of luck to everyone out there who are still waiting. Any advice would be much appreciated.

We got our visa grant today from Moscow!

9 month and 25 days from application! Very happy :)

We now have to withdraw our family sponsored tourist visa which we thought would be granted first, but after six weeks waiting for that we now have our partner visa instead :D

New User - Aussie waiting for a Norweigan

Hi All,

New user here, firstly thanks to everyone here for sharing their knowledge! It's a great help and is good to be able to read things from people in similar positions.

Thought I'd post my status up here with everyone else.

We met July 2013, applied Offshore 309 - Mid December 2015, so been waiting about 4 months.

Feels like a lot longer as my partner went home at the end of July 2015. We dicked around because I was super busy at work, so was she as soon as she got home and we didn't put in enough effort before she left. It's much harder to do the application over Skype and the Internet!

Seems like the massive wait time is mainly for on-shore applications, anyone know of any offshore's form Europe approved recently? It looks like hers will go through Berlin office.

I'm still hoping a quick turn around, we spent ages on the application and did all the medicals, police checks, 888's, photos, essay's, etc - All online. So if anyone has any questions with all that I'm happy to help.

Anyway, waiting sucks! Good luck to everyone waiting.

Thanks
G.

hopefully some good news for those waiting for London to grant 309. I got mine today which was a huge surprise as I applied at the end of November 2015 - just under 5 months in total!

My husband got his visa grant from Turkey about a week ago. It took us 7 months.
After PMV refused and family sponsored tourist visa refused we are just so happy that we can start our new life together in the same country :)
Good luck to everyone waiting and I know how hard it is to wait!

Hi,

I applied for 309 from NZ on 24th March. Anyone else apply from here or apply for 309 this year and hear from a case officer?
