Visa: 309/100
Location: Norway (so goes through Germany-Berlin)
Applied: 20 Dec 2015
Medical & Police: With Application
CO Assigned: ?
Request for more info: 4th Jan 2016
Info Provided: 11 Jan 2016
Visa Granted: NOT YET

I've left a '?' with the CO assigned because we haven't had any separate corresspondance stating that someone had been assigned - is that what other people get?
We've obviously had the request for more info, and that was signed with a name and position number from the Berlin embassy, so I kinda took it as that was our CO.

I see lots of people (seems mostly from London?) getting theres lately after 5-6 months which is great for them ! But I'm super sad pretty often now, it's been ages.

I'm wondering if anyone has had an approval from the Berlin office recently?

We submit a question on progress to the ESC (Europe Service Centre), our response was:

"Based on the information that you have provided our records indicate that
your Partner Visa is currently being processed. Please note that as a
guide, the majority of applications processed in the Europe Region are
expected to be finalised within 10 to 14 months, however please be advised
that the service standards for processing times are indicative only.
"

We have been together 3 years now, no kids and not married. It seems to be the 5+ years and/or kids helps speed the process :P

Anyway that's my rant over, good luck to everyone!

Thanks
G (the partner, not the applicant)

Hi Daisy,

Yes, we applied through the Seoul office (online) on Sept 2, 2016. Obviously we are still very early in the process so I can't give you any information on wait times, but whenever I've called the Embassy they have been very helpful and kind.

We've been married for 8 years with our 3rd child due soon, so we are hoping to be approved for the 100PR visa straight away.

Hi koreaussie,

Thank you for the message You guys would definitely be issued with a 100 visa straight with that family background!
I have been with my Australian partner for just over three years, applying based on the defacto relationship. Did you ask anything about the timeline at Soul for these subclasses at the moment?

Obviously the visa officers wouldn't give me any exact answers about timelines, but they informed me to check the website which states about 9-12months for partner visa applications.

Ok, I heard the timeline listed on DIBP website is way overdue. Though officers will always repeat what is said on the website when asked the question. Did you do the online application?
