If you read through other posters here from Kenya you can get a realistic idea of the true wait time, which can range anywhere up to 2 years for applicants from Africa.
It is quite normal not to hear from a CO for a long time.

I've been waiting for my 309/100 for the last four months now. I applied in late May from Jakarta/Indonesia, sent all the required documents in and has been on the frustrating wait. It feels like FOREVER and very hard for me and my husband.

We haven't heard anything from our CO (hope it's a good thing).

Good luck asti. It's amazing how long it takes! All the best of luck and fingers crossed for a speedy reply for you! We haven't heard anything at all either. I figure this means we're just in a pile of visas waiting to be processed, hopefully we're moving up to the top of the pile as time goes on :)

Hey! Just thought I would share, I wanted to ask immigration something about our visa the other day (not important, just inquiry) and emailed the Aus High Commission in NZ, they got back to me saying that they don't deal with online applications, just paper.. and that I would need to contact DIBP. If that means anything haha :) (probably not)

As you can see i'm new to this forum.
I am a British Citizen and my Partner is Australian, we live and work in New Zealand while we are waiting for my 309 Partner visa to come through.
We applied for the 309 Partner visa online via immi on the 24/08/2014.
We have contacted Australian Immigration in Australia and New Zealand because we have run out of attachment space and still have some important documents to attach.
Australian Immigration in New Zealand has told us that they do not deal with online eVISA's as well, so i am really concerned as to if we are wasting our time waiting and expecting a reply because they "Do not" deal with online applications and no one can give us answers about it.

Any ideas, suggestions or answers would greatly be appreciated.

Has any body sent a email to [email protected] and got a reply?

As per my knowledge, you should be able to attach any number of documents, just make sure you abide by the file size and proper format (pdf always works). I

My partner is American and he applied off shore thru DC so anytime I need to ask questions I have to call America.

I will be keen to hear how you get on as we are in the same situation (Aussie and Brit living in NZ, applied for a 309 not long before you and we also cannot upload any more documents, we have some important things that need to be uploaded).
