40sp Online

Hi.
Can the 40sp form only be completed once the applicant has lodged the online application?
On page 4 of application, I get the following error:

The related application details provided cannot be verified, check the details and amend if necessary. The applicant will not be able to continue and should review the eligibility information on our website.

I can't see my error.

Thanks.

Yes, we had the same issue. You need to lodge the application and pay the fee. Then the sponsor form can be completed.

Aplplicant having visited Australia before applying

Hi All,

My partner and I have been preparing his off shore visa application, we live together in Turkey, he's Turkish - it's almost ready to be submitted. One thing I'm worried about it that he hasn't visited Australia once during our 9 year de-facto relationship. We either didn't have a money or he didn't have the time, or we chose to travel to other countries thinking we can always see Australia when we eventually live there. But now, faced with the application, we're thinking it might seem strange to the case officer. Would people here recommend to hold off on the partner application and first visit Australia?

Much appreciated.

Hi guys...

So for the requirement - History of communication while separate, how much is too much / how much is too little ? We intend to submit the whole history seeing we don't talk hours everyday, but for three months worth history it is a pile of documents.

My question is if the office would ever dismiss any of the conversation history and deem as "not sufficient enough" or "not enough to be a genuine couple".

Is this requirement just to tick the box thata the couple speak to each other while apart, or do they consider the content of those conversation?

We do talk daily, but not too much at all. We don't have serious future talks or anything like that, so I guess I am worried if the content of the conversation would seem a little too light to submit as an evidence.

Are there any sample answers to the long form questions? The ones that ask to describe about your relationship, shared finances, etc?
