Hi all,

Our Partner Visa was submitted to the Belgrade Embassy in Serbia Feb 2016. We are still waiting. Ours is a very complicated case but we have been together for 5 years. Unfortunately my husband has a travel ban to Australia and cannot visit me, and I cannot take much time off work so we have not seen eachother for 6 months.

My husband had a face to face interview in Belgrade 1 Feb 2017, and I received a phone interview 17 March 2017. We have not supplied the medical yet as the case officer has said she will ask for it when ready. Can they be close to finishing?

OMG ,, this like more than 12 months, god help you, being far from you partner is really bad and Regarding to your question i think you should be asked for medical report so you get the visa

Hi everyone,

Im new to this forum and in the next two to three weeks I hope to start my application for a 309 visa and then be in this waiting room with you all!. We have been preparing for a few months now and gathered all the evidence that we feel is relevant and needed as far as our research into the visa goes but we are still nervous as its such a huge amount of money and certain aspects of our relationship are "unusual" (although I know we wouldnt be the first) so as people who are already in the process if you could let me know if the evidence we have is too much/too little, missing etc

Just a little info.. we are a same sex couple that have only ever lived at parents houses or temporary accommodation when we went travelling (but we have always been living at the same address since we first become a couple)

My names Conah (The applicant) and my partners name is Stan (The sponsor)

- Form 47SP
- Form 40SP
- Form 888 from 2 of Stans family members and 1 mutual friend of ours
- 2 stat decs of 1 family member and 1 friend in the UK
- Form 80
- Form 1221

- Individual statements of "History and Development" of our relationship
- Joint statement of "Finanical commitment and aspect" of our relationship
- Joint statement of "Social aspect" of our relationship
- Joint statement of "Household nature" as a couple

- Individual passports
- Individual Driving Licences
- Medicare cards
- Health insurance card in Australia (BUPA)
- Individual birth certificates

- Joint flight tickets
- Joint accommodation bookings
- Joint itinerary i.e theme park tickets/tour tickets etc
- Four letters each with address of residence (parents address) for UK and Aus
- Individual wage slips and PAYG summary (with address on)

- Visa letters to Australia for Conah and Bio metric permit for Stan in UK
- Next of kin details from workplaces
- Joint bank statements from Australia and UK (with address on)
- Individual bank statements from Australia and UK (with address on)
- Individual tax return summary

Also can anyone let me know that if we scan in documents in color do they need to be certified still by a solicitor in the UK and does this apply to bank statements?

I appreciate any help and comments

Thank you!

Application lodgement : 11/24
Medical : 12/17
Additional docu. required : 2/14
Additional docu. lodged : 3/9
Visa granted : 3/29

I never expected to get the visa granted this soon.
It seems things are quite fast these days.

We applied for the 309/100 offshore partner visa online from the US through Washington Office on the 13th March 2017. the husband (sponsor) is Australian and the applicant is Iraqi with a permanent residency in the US (Green Card).

We uploaded all the required documents except for the Medicals and Police Checks as we are still waiting for a CO to be assigned.

The applicant is pregnant. we are afraid if they will ask her to do chest x-ray at the moment :/

We haven't heard anything yet apart from the status of the application stating 'Received'.

Anyone who's been through the same experience?

Hi there, I'm new to this forum and have a question about the 309/100 subclass. I hope this is the right place to post it.

I'm wondering if you can travel in and out of Australia as a visitor while your application is pending for the 309?

I'm also wondering once you're granted the 309, how long do you have to enter the country before the visa is cancelled?

Thank you!

Do not let the applicant get the X-ray while she is pregnant. get the applicant to call the embassy/office that is handling the application (since you do not have a CO yet) and let them know that applicant is pregnant and is not recommended

good luck!
