Last time I got my status "examination required" as well before I finally finalised my medical examination. Once my medical check up is clear, the status straight away changed to "on process". So, go and do your medical examination asap.

Thank you for replying back to me SPetitt - I have a few questions about the medical Do you have to do everything, like is there a checklist for the medical? I think they have to do an xray? Just unsure about what he's supposed to do. I guess we print it off and go to a board certified doctor and they'll do the examinations. We will book an appointment this week Thank you for your help! x

I've been there too. Apparently yes, you need to do everything. You need to print out the medical examination recommendation letter. I can't really remember whether there's a checklist in that letter or not. Maybe not. But once you go to the hospital which pointed by the immigration, they'll let you know what items that need to be checked to fullfil the immigration request.
You gotta finish every items include the x-ray. I once completed all my medical examinations except the x-ray as I was pregnant. I thought they'll give it a pass. Nope they're not. The doctor told me as long as I haven't finish all items, he can't submit my medical result to the immigration because the app won't allow him to do so, even if have to wait until the next 9 months. So my status was still "examination required" for the next few months until I done my x-ray, then it changed to "on process", finally!

Hi ROGERS,
I also applied from the US (Washington DC) at the end of November. Still haven't heard anything either, so you're not alone in that. Let's hope it's a good sign... I did my medicals and police check a couple of weeks after submitting the application. I'll let you know if I hear anything.

really glad to see more regular updates on the 309/100 room.
i'm actually quite surprised to see that the folks applying from USA has also been waiting for more than 6-8months for a 309 approval.

It seems folks from the USA have been waiting a while for the other offshore partner visa as well. One guy posted that a CO just asked for a police check and he applied for his 300 9 1/2 months ago! I wonder what the hold up has been with offshore visas from the states.

No idea, but all we can do is wait. I assume there are a lot of cases to be processed in Washington compared to other embassies.
A few weeks ago I saw the hopeful update from someone called "Cutex". He or she was granted a partnervisa (not sure if 300 or 309), processed in Washington DC, after 8,5 months. The post was from the beginning of April so he/or she must have applied end of July last year. I'll put the link below.
