You cannot convert a 175 to a 176 and if you're considering a state sponsorship you ought to that first but with the ACT, you ought also be aware that a lot of employment there is with government departments and you need citizenship before employment with the government, far more opportunities in other states but IT is a very competitive for seeking employment.
The changes in July 2011 will not be significant and if you have applied under the existing regulations an application will be considered against those regulations.

Hi Wanderer & everyone,

What is the delay limit of the english assessment of the supouse?
I am going to apply for 175 but my wife doesn't know enough english to get 4,5. (As far as I remember spouses need at least 4,5 points, correct?)
How much time do we have to get the necessary IELTS score of my wife?

Thank you in advance.

Dear Sir,
IELTS for spouse is optional which means once a case officer assessed your file, he will look for the IELTS for all secondary applicants aged over 16, in case it doesn't exist he will ask you for it or the 2nd installment.

regards

Dear raysool,

Thank you for the info! I've just checked the necessary pages and feel a little confused. As far as I understand, I do not need to pay 2nd installment or present an IELTS result of my spouse, since the case officer requests it.
But what happens afterwards? After the officer requests either the IELTS or the 2nd instalment payment, how much time will I have in order to present the IELTS score, or consider for making the payment? Are we talking about days, weeks or months?

Actually, that seems a quite important detail. Since you need to either pay $3575 as second installment or present an IELTS score at least 4.5 for your spouse, I should know the time limitation regarding to the subject.

Thank you in advance for your support.
