If you check the spouse visa details you will see that it is a minimum of a three year relationship or two if you have a child to have PR granted.

Hi there,

If you want to get PR straight away, you should have requested it when the application was handed in. DIAC doesn't automatically grant it to people who meet the special conditions. Keep in mind that 3 years means that you have been living together for that period. Just being in a relationship that long will not satisfy the requirement.

You might be able to contact your CO and ask if you can be considered, but if the application is already moving along the queue, it could put the application further back.

You have said you got married in mid 2009 and unless you have good evidence of a residing together relationship for three years prior to your application, you do not meet the PR requirements.

If you claim you have had the relationship for the three years and do now want to show that, a CO may want your evidence to be even stronger than normal and I am not too sure you will even be able to change or add to your existing application.

We have a sticky about this here:

http://www.australiaforum.com/visas-...migration.html

There are a lot of common questions that seem to be asked, so you can prepare your self a bit better. They are not trying to scare you, but just want to see if you are a real couple.
