Employment point in skilled visa 189

Hi guys,

I just have a quick question regarding the skilled 189 visa, my occupation on the SOL list is Accountant General ( 221111).

The last 1 year I have been doing works in account receivables, account payables, payrolls only, not financial statements or tax accounts or anything like that. Are my works still considered under Accountant General ( 221111) or closely related to it? This is because I'd like to tick the box for skilled employment in Australia to earn 5 extra points ( without ticking this box i still have enough 60 points anyway but i just think if we have more points it increases the chance of being invited to apply).

Given my job nature and my nominated occupation on SOL list, do you think I should include the skilled employment or it will be a risk and complicate my application?

Thank you very much.

Hi, thanks for the information. Does the position have a job description that includes the minimum qualifications and skill level required for the job.

Regards
