You'll need to have a look at what the UK regs are for your Iranian nationality isn't it for being an Australian resident will have no effect until you have citizenship and an Australian passport.
Visa and embassy information for all countries - Projectvisa.com will get you to the right site.
You will of course need to keep your timing in mind re getting the 100 PR granted, though that can be granted when you're overseas if need be.
