Angry embassy in Turkey losing documents

I am getting so angry with the Australian embassy in Turkey! My fiancee sent them documents (had to be originals) along with certified translations via registered/recorded post and the embassy called and said they didn't receive them So he sends them again and guess what, they said the didn't receive them again! I sent documents (one original and others certified copies) in two separate envelopes and they said they received one and not the other. The address is correct, we both sent by registered/recorded post. Each time this happens it is delaying our application, we are still in the first stage of proving the relationship because they are losing our documents, any suggestions I am getting so frustrated with them, but they are good at least with answering emails, always within a day or two, but they are terrible with losing hard copies!

Do you have the receipts for the registered/recorded posted envelopes and have you tracked them with the postal service to conform that they have been delivered?
If so and you have documented postal reports showing delivery to the embassy, you could take it up with higher authority at the embassy or send information to the Immi GFU.
You might also want to ask why originals are being asked for as that is usually only the police reports and other than that it is standard Immi procedure to request certified copies, though in some countries they may want to see an actual passport rather than just certified copies of ID pages, security against fraud and all that kind of stuff.

Lucky for him he had person to person courier delivery so has the name of who the documents were left with and the time and date for his documents. But mine I called Australia Post and we have to contact Turkish Post (PTT) because Aust Post only has records of it being scanned when it left Australia the next day. At least we can prove they lost his documents at least, may take a few days to track mine

update, we managed to track my docs on the PTT website then called them for the name of the person who signed for the delivery and provided this to the embassy, now they sent me an email apologising and saying they have found the docs now, hmmmmm.
