Visa 175 - What are the events during the process

I applied for visa subclass 175 on 21st March 2011. I know it is a longggg process. but what is the sequence of events ??

for ex: what happens within 28 days ?? (any email or contact by immi dept)

when is CO allocated ?

and what else happens ?

when do they tell us to do medical ??

and is there a case where we can get visa before the 18 months timeline :P :P
