Dear Friends...

Greetings everyone...

I would like to thank all who have taken the time out to help me out with my journey to return to Australia to be with the woman I love. However, I regret to inform you that she has decided to part ways with me after our long hard fought journey. I won't go into all the detail of how all this came about because I don't know it all for sure but I will say that if you are continuing to do this do not lose focus of what you are in it for and that is LOVE. Even though I didn't lose focus of that but I did get caught up in the escape and the allure of leaving America to be in the best place in the world and let the stress of it all bring what we had down. This is by far the hardest thing I've ever faced in my life and I don't wish this pain upon anyone so please, if you are going through something similar talk to you your partner everyday and tell them you love them more than anything no matter how hard it gets. If the love is there keep pressing on. I am still going to complete the last step of the visa process by taking my medicals just in case a miracle happens but it looks like this chapter in my life has ended. NEVER EVER GIVE UP ON LOVE. It can conquer all obstacles if you allow it too and have faith but not every ending is a happy ending. Again, I can't thank you all enough and continue to pray for me as I go through the biggest challenge yet... losing the love of my life. Many blessings.

-Michael

Aw Michael, I'm so sorry. The stress of this journey can get to anybody. Your love might just be feeling burdened by the journey, but she might come around. If not, it's Australia's loss.

Good luck for your future and I know you'll find happiness either way xxxx

Good morning/avo Star

1st off I would like to congratulate you on your visa being granted. Definitely exciting news!!!! Also, I would like to thank you for helping me along the way and of course your sympathy as I've cried all week long including this morning as well. Everyone has said that she could possibly come around but after reading a lot of what she has said through messenger these past weeks it looks like I will have no choice but to move on but I will say she hasn't sent my ring back just yet and the application is still ongoing. So at least for my personal benefit, living the motto "giving up isn't an option" I will complete the last step and leave it in God's hands from there. I've never loved anyone so much but at the end of the day if I want her to be happy.

Again, thank you so much for all you've done and should anything change you know I'll keep you and the others posted

Hi Michael. You are not alone here. We feel with you. You are so right when you say "never give up on love". The stress of the immigration process can be so destructive on ourselves and our relationships. It takes real commitment and hard work to keep the flames of love burning sometimes. Hang in there mate. That infectious smile of yours will surely bring happiness to those lucky to be around you in times ahead. Cheers and good luck always...

Dinkum my man...

Thank you for the words of encouragement kind sir. This has really been a tough situation and I must say I really can't see myself being this deep with anyone else but her. Clearly if these American women were about something would I really risk it all? lol... But at the end of the day I realize that if I love her I should care about her happiness and if it's not with me I have to be a man and let her go. Leaving it in God's hands though this is something that I don't think I'll ever understand but we shall see. Again I appreciate your support and I'll keep u updated as well. Peace and love.

Hi Collegegirl

I meant to send a special thank you out to you but I was so pressed for time when writing this. Thank you so much for your support and please feel free to keep me on the Washington, D.C. list for visas. After reading what she has left me it's not looking too promising but I've come too far just to let myself down so I will continue with the visa process and if God plans to align the stars to lead me back to her heart then we can start over.

I do appreciate all your help and continue to pray for us.

-Michael

Thanks, Michael. I don't even want to say this part, especially not at this time, but I just need to make sure you know so you don't get in trouble down the line - you're obligated to tell DIBP and cancel the processing of your visa if your relationship ends. I think you have like 28 days or something to report it (not positive on that) so that gives you at least a little time to be absolutely positive that you're not going to proceed with that. I just would hate for you to come over to Australia on that visa and then get your visa cancelled once you went to all that expense. Better to let them know before they grant it, if you're sure.

Ugh, I am SO sorry I had to say that, but I thought you'd want to know. Like I said - best wishes, and you'll be in my thoughts. I really hope you guys can find your way back to each other.

Thank you Collegegirl for the info. I definitely appreciate your concern but my whole thing is just to fight until I can't fight no more. I don't wanna bring anymore violins out but I really don't have much more to lose. I don't want to cancel it and then she all of a sudden comes around and then we have to start it all over but if it's granted and she still hasn't come around I won't go. However, when u say "trouble," does that mean prosecution?

Awwww Michael I am so sorry to hear. It is a stressful period for a lot of us.

Any way that you can get an ETA to Australia to go and visit her to see if you can get things to work out.

Good luck
