Thumbs down Help Bridging visa class B

Hi everyone, I sent my defacto visa application to the DIAC two weeks ago, and know I know that I have to fill up a 1006 form if i want to go OS...
But i would like to know if going home just to visit family for 1 month is okay ,well I meant by this (does not need to say someone is sick or in hospital for them to have a valid reason??...)
I would like to go home in August, does anyone know how long does it take to have the reply from them about this bridging visa B??
Thanks a lot
