457 review 1 year with current employer

hii
i just reading the 457 review which one is submitted by panel.
i just reading on page 81 its
Recommendation 15
15.1 That 457 visa holders be required to work for at least two years in Australia before transitioning to the Employer Nomination Scheme or Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme, and that consideration be given to the amount of time required with a nominating employer being at least one year.
is this good news coming????
best of luck to all

It's far too vague right now to jump to any conclusion. Personally I think the recent amendments to ENS regarding changes of ownership in a business were enough to solve a lot of the issues applicants had with the system anyway.

You've got to remember that the 2 year qualifying period with the same employer in the same occupation is designed to act in lieu of the formal skills assessment and evidence of 3 years relevant work experience needed in the direct entry stream.

If people wish to obtain their PR earlier they can always go through that route instead.
