121 visa - can I only work for the company that nominated me?

Hi All. I have a friend who has applied for, and has been granted a 121 visa. However before he had the time to get out here to Australia, the company has withdrawn the offer due to financial difficulties.

This is rather distressing for my friend and his family as they sold their house, cars and all belongings they weren't going to bring with them.

My question is can my friend now find another job with a different company using the granted 121 visa that he has? or is the visa only valid if he works for the company that nominated him?
