How relevant does your degree have to be to pass the skills assessment?

Hi Everyone,

I am currently working as a Town Planner and am looking to apply for a skilled migration visa after the changes in July 2011. I currently have 3 years experience and my age means that i have the points. Despite working as a Town Planner for 3 years i only have a degree in Geographical Science (BSc) not an RTPI accredited degree. According to VETASSESS i need a relevant degree. Does anyone know if my degree is considered relevant enough?? I have completed modules such as environmental management, coastal processes and meteorology which might be ok

Thank soooo much for your help!!
