Advise on Epilepsy and visa application

My husband has just been diagnosed with epilepsy and we are still in the very early stages of visa application, he has minor siezures which are controlled with a low dose of medication, but they are caused to situations of extreme stress, does anyone know if this will have an effect of our chances of being accepted. His profession is in high demand in all regions.
