Question BVB Application Form 1006

Hi everyone

I am on a bridging visa A at the moment and want to apply for a bridging visa B, so I can visit my family in December for a few, as I believe to be very compelling, reasons.
For starters I want to spend Christmas with them as I have been spending it with my Australian family for the last two years. Also, both my nans have their birthdays in December and both are turning 80-something and I was asked by my entire family to come home to spend these events with them, since one cannot be sure if I have many more chances.
Anyway, long story short (as we like to say in German) !
I just have some questions regarding the form (I always get so confused with what they want to know).

Question 1)
I am asked to provide my receipt number from my last visa application. I assume that would be my 820 application. Is it correct that they want my visa application charge receipt number?

Question 10)
Where was the substantive visa lodged?
I lodged my 820/801 partner visa application online through my ImmiAccount.
So do I just write online?

Thanks for your help!! Greatly appreciated !
(one would think you get used to filling out forms, dealing with visa applications all the time. Guess that's incorrect ! )

Hi, how is your application for a BVB going? My husband is from the UK we are going there in December for his mother's 70th, Christmas and for me to meet the in-laws.

Our problem is do we really get asked to provide compelling reasons? Did you application for the visa come through? If it did, how long did it take?

Cheers,
Fran

Fran - the reasons you listed above are more than sufficient for the grant of a BVB - my reasons were wedding dress fitting and fiancée meeting family and that was fine

Since processing times got insane they are much more leniant - I haven't heard of a BVB not being granted in all my time on this forum
