Can I change Sponsorship visa to Defacto??

Hi All,

Hopefully someone can Advise me. I'm on my second working holiday visa and I've been offered sponsorship. This currently is fine.

However my partner may be relocated because of work in the next year. If this does happen can I change my visa to Defacto so I can go with him?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've been looking online but can't find anything.

If you apply for the work sponsored visa, you can't change it to a spouse visa. If your intention is to follow your partner, you're better off applying for the de facto visa if you have enough evidence and have been living together for at least 12 months.
