Basically same requirements for NZ partner visas as Australian (marriage/de facto). They don't have the fiancee visa option.

I looked at it as i was offered a job back in NZ at Christmas but it was difficult the get my fiancee there on anything other than a long term visitor visa with no work rights.

thanks very much
well we need to have all possibilities into considerations. People on this forum keep telling me Kenya is difficult and our chance is low so I'm thinking in case (hopefully not) she got rejected then I move to New Zealand then apply for partner visa there.

Unless your relationship is not genuine or she (or dependents) would fail the health requirement or you submit fraudulent information, there's not really any reason it'd be denied, and a NZ partner visa likely requires MORE evidence than an Aussie PMV.

Basically, if you haven't lived together for 12 months you wont get a partner visa to NZ.

Also you have to prove that NZ is your primary place of residence.

Nope.

You would have to try sponsoring for a visitor visa for 12 months until you meet the requirements for a partner visa.
