my classes started but my visa hasn't been granted yet!

I have logged my visa online on the 15th of August. My classes start on the 10th of October and I wasn't granted a visa yet. In the time frame for Americans it says 2 weeks. I have emailed them several times but the answer is always the same exact email. The only thing they say is that they are processing my visa and they can't say how long it would take.

What should I do?! Is there no way to get a straight answer from them? I can find no phone number I can call either. What should I do?!?!

Please help!

There have been many similar posts. Mark Northam (of the Ask Mark! thread) recommends applicants lodge their applications 3 months before courses start as visas are taking much longer to be processed, sometimes more than 3 months which is difficult when DIBP won't let you apply more than 3 months before your courses start.

From the posts I've seen, it seems all you can do is wait for your visa to be processed, and perhaps see if you can move your course start to a later date.

Here's a thread that talks about this situation: http://www.australiaforum.com/visas-...under-svp.html

Thanks a lot Maggie. Now I know it wasn't just my application. So, the only thing I can do now is wait. This won't be fun at all.
