Partner Visa 820/801 attached documents

Hi Folks,
I was wondering if someone could shed some light on a Visa Query?

I have just completed my online application for a Partner Visa and am ready to submit it, however I am aware that once i submit i will prompted for evidence documents, is this correct?

I want to be ready for this, so could anyone help with some advice as to what i should be scanning and turning to e-documents, can anyone tell me what the "20 or so headings" are, that i have read about in a different thread? Also once the application is lodged how soon will i be asked for these documents? after the 12-15month processing period?

Thank you for any help
Gav

I myself also just completed my partner's visa application and have submitted it.

Yes, that is correct. Once you click on the visa application on the front page of your immiAccount, it will come up with a link of your application, your receipt of payment, and then the list of documents you are to upload.

I've screenshotted the documents they require you to upload - I'm not sure if it differs between applications. Check below for the attachment.

Gavin, there is no immediacy to upload all documents as soon as you submit your application. The main documents to upload straight away (if you can) are those relating to proving the applicant and sponsor's identity (passports, birth certificates etc). All the others (888s, personal statements, relationship evidence etc) can be uploaded as you gradually collate all the information.

I consulted with Mark Northam earlier today and he said that as long as everything is uploaded within the week, you should be fine. If you know some of your documents will take a while to collate (waiting for police check to come in, etc), maybe it's best to hold off on submitting until you're positive you've got every document and piece of evidence almost ready to go.

Not sure what you mean by this Gavin.

thank you

thank you Rayray

That has been a huge help.

So just to go over a few points, am I correct in saying the following:

1. I submit my (the applicants) form and am charged the Visa cost (in full?)
2. I am then presented with these categories to attach evidence
3. The Sponsor form must then also be completed
4. The sponsors evidence is then attached also (am I correct in saying the bulk of the evidence can be placed in my section) the sponsors section need only consist of her (the sponsors) identity details? i.e passport, birth certificate)
5. Once all evidence and forms are collated is the whole thing then resubmitted or does the immigration department simply review the case over a period of time, acknowledging the new submissions of evidence that are added in due course?

Thank you for any help,
This process is indeed time consuming with very little guidance and support from the IMMI website, so I really appreciate your help in this daunting project

You'll get a chance to submit everything - on the top-right, you can submit "additional documents" so everything else such as extra statements, photos etc can go under there. I'm also the sponsor in my visa application and have filled out everything under my perspective as well, but you'll see where each document will go under once you get to that stage.

I'm not exactly sure how the evidence is received on their behalf, but I can only assume the uploaded documents must be dated in their system so whoever the CO is, they'd probably be able to see what items are added on and at what date... again, this is just speculation on my behalf.
