Visa Stress

Just wondering how everyone else on the forum is handling the Visa stress? It's quite the process, and it sure seems to take a toll on my nerves. I am almost going nutty with the wait! And abruptness what speaking to the DIAC does not help any.

It was a very stressful time for me too. It has been an extremely difficult first 14 months here too. I was on a sponsorship 457 and have only recently moved to my partner visa.. its been a year I wont forget.

I know how you feel. I'm going through the long wait now with my partner. But, if have played by immigration's rules, given them all the information they ask for and are a genuine couple, then you will get the visa sooner or later

Me too, waiting waiting waiting. I guess we just sit back and wait! I check my email every day, check my spam folder JUST in case. Nothing so far. Just a receipt in the mail showing they charged my credit card.

Update: Visa just granted! Holy Cow all the stress and the waiting. I am so excited. It seems almost unbearable the wait, but it's well worth it. I hope it comes soon for everyone!
