Smile Can I start with DIAC before EA results?

hey all,

I am so glad to write in this helpful forum.

I submitted my file to EA at 8 Feb. 2011 and they said after 8 days I will get the results. so I don't know how many days it needs to deliver to me because I don't want to lose time, because of the new rules at 1st of July 2011

so can I send my file to DIAC just to start before the 1st of July 2011, and I will send them the results as soon as I got them.

I will send them everything they need
the forms, the money and the IELTS

the results maybe will appear at 8th of June and maybe I will get them after 15 days because of the regular mail that they use. I wish if they can use faster mail and I will pay all the costs. so when I get them I will send them directly to DIAC to fill my file.

can that happened ?

I would advise you to keep all the documents for PR ready and wait for your EA assessment.
If u dont get it by 28th or 29th june, just go for the PR without assessment.

But still I advise you that dont try it straightaway. Because if CO notes that you visa application is made before EA assessment granted, he may rise an issue.

And make an evisa application so u dont have to send the courier which takes time. If u lodge online application, you just have to scan it.
By the way, r u applying from australia or outside australia.

good luck

Hi

Hi,
Even I am in similar situation. I applied for my ACS on 7th Feb 2011. And, I am still waiting for my outcome. Eventhough i have all my documents ready, I am waiting to get the response. What status doe it show for you in ACS website? For me it shows as "IN Process" but the diagram below shows fourth box highlighted.

Hi dsilva,
which country you are applying from? From australia or outside australia?
I myself applied for ACS skills assessment on 28th of feb 2011 and I got mine on 18th of may. So you should be getting it very soon.

Keep checking for the updates on ACS website for your app. status.
Once it shows as "with assessor", it usually takes no more than 5 days if everything goes well. By the time keep your docs ready. That's what I did and I am ready to lodge my application for PR. If u r applying from another country, it take time to receive your letter. So u can ring ACS and request them to send a scanned copy. So even if u receive hard copy of your letter little late, u can use the scanned copy and that is what u need for your online application.

Good luck.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. I still have one question in my mind. The textual status display shows as 'In Process", whereas the image below is showing the fourth box highlighted. So I am confuse about the actual status.
