Form 1419 question 40

Hi everyone.

We are currently in the process of putting an application form 1419
Together with a partner visa form 47SP and 40SP

How important is question 40 If I'm the one who will be providing everything for her financially? Does she still have to satisfy question 40? She is unemployed????

Thank you.

Of course, unless you are applying for a family sponsored visitor visa which is processed in Australia. Otherwise the onus is on the applicant to prove that they can support themselves in Australia however some embassies may allow for someone to provide financial help while in Australia but this is at the discretion of the embassy.

You mention that she is unemployed, you will need to provide evidence showing that she will return to her home country after the tourist visa expires, this may be difficult to prove when she is unemployed.
