Interviews

Does everyone have to do an interview for the 309 visa? If so, being from Italy does that mean we must travel to Berlin or is it over the phone?

Grazie

It is usually people from high risk counties or people they have serious doubts about.

If they did an interview and you are not in that country than they would a phone interview.

I was just thinking about that... Was a bit worried we haven't been called for an interview and it has been almost 9 months since we applied... Is that actually a good thing?

Where did you apply from? If onshore then that is even rarer than applying offshore.

Awww that sucks. Hard to know is 9 months means no interview ... you would think so. Do people who have applied through the same embassy have interviews?

Where my husband applied they interview 99% of applicants.

I am sure, did not really notice everyone had an interview... That is why I was trying to figure out if that is a good or bad thing...

You can look at it either way. Good that you don't need an interview or good that you get to prove your case .

There are very few embassies that will interview majority of the applicants.
