I have applied for my PR at the end of 2008, but I heard no news from Immigration.
Now I am considering of hiring a migration agent to check on my application.
Should I do it?
Would the migration agent be of any use if I hire now?Could they help?
What visa are you applying for? Agents costs a lot of money, although they offer professional advice and can help you present your case well if it is complicated.
You should keep in mind that some visas, especially skilled work or sponsored visas can take a long time to process, so if you have already applied and have a case officer you should contact them for an update.
I have applied for subclass 886, applied at the end of 2008. Its been a long wait, I was wondering whether should I hire an agent for help. Could they be a help?
The last time I called them, was a couple of weeks back. They said myapplication has not moved at all and I am at the bottom of the Skills List and it is not moving anytime soon. Due to new rules and such.
It's up to you, but I suspect that you probably need to forget getting to Australia by this method. If you are still on the botom of the list after 3 years........
