Subclass 820 - statutory declarations

Hi All,

I am preparing my subclass 820 application and I was wondering how many statutory declarations I should obtain to support this?

I have so far one from a mutual friend (the one who introduced us), another from my partner's best friend (who I met at the same time I met my partner) and my partner's father. Is this enough or should I get some more.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

FT

Hi there,

It's more a matter of quality then quantity. It's better to get a few from close freinds and family who have known both of you well and who can fully support your claims as a genuine couple than getting a whole heap from people you don't really know well and haven't had much contact with you and your partner.

My partner submitted 3 from my family and that was enough in our case.
