Can I still apply under the old point system?

HI! Just a newbie here.
I just finished my bachelors degree (Bachelor of I.T.)here in Australia this month.
Transcripts will be released within the next two weeks and application for skills assessment can be made within the 3rd and 4th week of June.
Question: Would a receipt of pending assessment from ACS (Australian Computer Society) be acceptable to DIAC for PR application or to rephrase it, would I still be able to apply for PR under the current (old) point system before July 1, 2011.
