help with the correct visa

Hi, I would appreciate any help or advise anyone could give me. My son is working in Perth he has arrived in Oz on a working visa (1 year). He would love to stay and work in Perth but since he is only 19 and left school
with numerous qualification he has no skills as such as he has only ever worked in a supermarket in the uk when he was a student. He cannot apply for the 457 visa as he is unskilled. The company he is working for at the moment in Perth wan't to sponsor him but are having difficulties with the visa requirements. I have researched visa requirements online but it is very complicated does anyone have any suggestions as if he can't stay he will im be forced to return to the U.K. next year and there are no prospects for him in the u.k. due to the state of the country at the moment. many thanks a worried mother!!
