New Form 40 SP/47 SP

I haven't seen the new online form yet, but apparently there has been a significant change to Forms 40 SP/47SP:

Sponsors for a partner visa will now be asked to disclose criminal convictions and charges.

When will these changes be implemented? Are the updated forms up on the DIBP's website?
Thanks for your help.

Kind Regards,
Becky

Wow interesting. I don't think it is a bad thing considering domestic violence.

Do you think it will be required for both male and female sponsors or only male sponsors since they say "domestic violence against women and their children"?

When do you think the online version will be updated?

Oh dear My fiance has mailed our docs for submission just now and will arrive probably 3-4 days. Does that mean we have to redo the forms?

The online system has been very erratic lately and has been down most of the day today, so I haven't been able to check it out. I had a quick look at the forms 40/47 SP with design date 11/14a and couldn't see any changes.

He can always email you the latest version. Note that using an old version of an application form does not make a visa application invalid, although it is of course good practice to always use the latest version of the form.

Oh man. I foresee a lot of "does my drink drive charge/speeding ticket/parking ticket count as a criminal conviction?" questions.
