Child Visa and Dependence

My son is 26 , he suffers from anxiety and depression and had been in Australia with us for the last two years.

Would anxiety and depression be classed as a 'disability' as they prevent him from working and he relies on us solely for shelter , food etc.

We went into our local immigration office and the lady told us that if we could prove we have been supporting him for two years there is a route for us , does anyone have any knowledge of this or experience of it?

Were extremely worried for him if he has to return home , any advice would be much appreciated.

What visas do you and your son currently hold? You may be looking more at trying to meet 'dependent relative' over 'dependent child', but this is difficult to know without some background on your visas.
