Visa subclass 461 - Health insurance

Hi there,

Iím a Belgian girl who lives in Australia since 20 months and I am now applying for a NZ Citizen Partner visa.

I am confused with what level of health insurance is required in order for my visa application to be accepted.

I currently have travel insurance and am linked with Medicare through the Belgian Health System. Do I need to give evidence that I will have ongoing insurance for the 5 year life of the visa supplied to me by a Belgian insurance policy or is Medicare sufficient?

Thanks!

If u hve medicare then it will b fine..
Also health insurance point isnt include in 461 visa checklist. So u should apply with all urs supportive evidences, AFP nd scan copy of ur medicare card. Must include two 888 forms nd Statutory Declaration forms made by auzzie citizn or permanent residents. Form 147 nd form 80.

Yes im sure. Its not in the checklist if u cant provide its ok. But must make two Statutory Declaration by ozzi citizn or PR.

I applied recently on 3rd sept at new delhi,India. Waiting for my visa offshore.

I went to sydney immigration office in January 2014. The officer on the reception counter suggest me to attach 888 form..
If u want for sample i can send u a email what we have to write in them.
