Post help needed with visa rejection, urgent

I am in melbourne now and my student visa was rejected. I am planning to apply for Migration Review Tribunal. My question is : my partner is waiting for his 485 visa. After he gets his 485, can I apply as his subsequent entrant applicant while I am in MRT process ? If I can, does this visa rejection effects me in future to apply for any kind of migration visa such as 487 because my cousin is citizen here. Need some suggestion ASAP.

I think I would be going for your plan about waited for his 485 visa, but you can't just wait around for that to happen. FInd out around about when the 485 would be granted, but if it's not soon you can't stay in Australia unlawfully. Maybe you could go back to your home country while you wait for his visa to be granted ??

Please seek advice from a RMA first.

You have 7 days to lodged an appeal with MRT?
I suggest contacting a good RMA & getting your options lined up.

My student visa got rejected too over a reason which was already resolved. I didn't go down the MRT route but got married to my now husband, returned back to lodge my 309/100 spouse visa but we're waiting for his PR to be granted first.

A good RMA wanted to know why didn't I just lodge an appeal with MRT to stay in the country then lodge an onshore Spouse visa and the answer was; I didn't know I could. So the morale here is; I should I have gotten advice by a good RMA before making my decisions.

Good luck & please don't decide on things without consulting a professional like I did after it was too late.
