Exclamation Request for further documents

Hi.

Got his email from my CO today:

Dear dragon

In reference to your application above I require some more documents.

-Your full cv, including all work experience and detailed job descriptions, research, qualifications, publications, names and details of referees.

- Your intended employment or study in Australia.

Please send these details in word doc format if you attach documents.

Please submit these details to me within 28 days

The CV part is fine. For the second part I indicated(Form 1221) that I will be working when I land in Oz, however, the employment has not been arranged for at this point in time. What document do I submit for that? Anyone else received a similar request?

Please help.

i would just say what you are intending to seek work as

e.g. i am intending to seek work in australia as a bus driver.

if you were intending to seek work in a profession you are not qualified for then they might have a problem... e.g. if all your work experience has been as a bus driver but you say you are intending to seek work as a brain surgeon in australia.

or if you were trying to seek work in a profession that is not common in australia then they might have a problem. e.g. i am intending to seek work as a butcher specialising solely in the production of dog meat.

Kesausin

Hi,

I had submitted my docs on sep 2010. My case officer had requested me to provide for additional information regarding salary and submit change in status forms accordingly.

Yesterday was the last day to send the docs( 28 days time limit). My consultant will be sending the documents today.

I would like to know the following

1.0 whether the case officer would consider the documents which will be sent across today?

2.0 Is there any grace period facility ?

3.0 Case officer had mentioned that if docs are not provided within the time frame, decision will be made based on the documents available.

Regards,
kesausin

Thanks for your reply dan. Sounds plausible.

I replied that despite not having arranged for employment momentarily, I intend to pursue a job related to my occupation(attached 3 vacancies from seek.com.au) when I arrive Down Under. Very much in line with how you put it.

Cheers mate

Why were you guys waiting till the last moment?

Grace periods might be available only if you can genuinely prove that you were incapable of replying within the 28 day period because you were say out of town, had an accident, etc.

Your consultant really isn't good with time management. Pissing off your CO is the last thing you'd want to do.
