Name mis spelling in EOI submission

I am processing PR 189 visa through an agent. EOI submitted on 7th Dec. For EOI submission, my agent has given wrong spelling on my first name. "A" is missed in my first name. SANKARLINGAM is given instead of SANKARALINGAM. Now she says it will not impact anything, as we can give correct spelling during actual Visa Lodgement and that is what will matter. Does not sound convincing though !. Need a second opinion please.

You agent can withdraw this EoI and lodge new one with correct spelling. It is much better to have the correct spelling from the start.

You agent should lodge a second EoI at not charge for you as it is their mistake, and there is no application charge for lodging an EoI.

Regards
