defacto visa Friends and Family Stat dec

Hi All,

I have a stat dec from my landlord and my partners mother whose based in Sydney and a friend whose based in Sydney. I have moved to Perth when we began are defacto relationship and we really enjoy each others company that we don't really have friends here in Perth. I asked a friend who knows us well in Perth but she doesn't want to write a stat dec because she is busy. Does it matter if don't have a friend who can write us a stat dec whose in Perth?

I don't think it matters too much where in Australia they live as long as they are Australian citizens or PR residents

Starlight is right, so long as they are Australian Citizens/PR (as they hold more weight), it doens't matter where they live - so long as they know you both well enough to attest to your defacto relationship.

Try to get as many of these as possible if you are lacking in other areas of evidence.
