PMV Documents

Hi everyone,

We have submitted our PMV application online and we are a bit worried that we have missed some documents, there seems to be check lists floating around but there are variations, some seem outdated. We have submitted the following, I was wondering if anyone thats been through this process can tell us if we are missing anything?

Me (applicant):
  1. Passport copy
  2. Passport photo
  3. Birth Certificate
  4. Form 80
  5. NOIM, confirmation letter from the registry (we plan on getting married in the registry and no date has been set yet due to processing times)
  6. 2xForm 888 from my partner's friends whom I have met on Skype
  7. Criminal records (we probably didn't need this just yet)
  8. Relation statement describing our relationship, signed by me
  9. Skype call history
  10. Screenshots of email history
  11. Scan of a receipt for a gift my fiance got me
  12. Scan of a card that my fiance sent me with flowers
  13. Scan of a hotel bill from when he came to visit me
  14. Pictures showing us together with friends and family over the years

My fiance (sponsor):
  1. Filled out form 40sp online
  2. Passport copy including PR page
  3. Passport copy
  4. Relationship statement, signed

Thank you so much for taking the time!

Edit - delete! I missed your photos in your list; that's all I was going to suggest.

Thanks Indymama!

Actually reading around:
  1. Do we need to get an insurance? Seems silly to get the insurance now, or will they case officer ask for it?
  2. What about a notice of impediment? I just read that on another topic, is this needed?
  3. Should we get more statements from family/friends? (None are PR or Citizens)

Thanks!

No, you do NOT need insurance. I was told so by the Americas Service Center when I called to ask. It was also not on the checklist they sent me about 3 months after I applied.

Not sure what you mean by notice of impediment, but if you are talking about divorce decrees from previous marriages, then yes you need to provide those.

You only need two 888s from Australian citizens/PRs.. Additional statements from friend/family aren't required but won't hurt. Many on this forum would suggest providing as much as you can.
