Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Hello all.

I wanted to stop by and wish everyone of you who are still being VERY PATIENT to be with their significant others a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and I hope you get the great news you've been waiting for all along.

It's been quite a while since I've been on this site and still at a loss for words that I'm no longer "in line" with the rest of you after all that went down with my situation but I just want to remind all of you it is so worth the wait if the one you love is in it for the long run. I never thought I'd miss a forum filled with great people so much but life does throw it's curve balls at times and I'm sure some blessings will come from it at the end of the day.

Again, best of luck and best wishes to all of you and if you're still waiting and it's frustrating... STAY POSITIVE and keep hope and LOVE alive.

Peace and Love.

-Michael

Merry Christmas to you too.

I am guessing you weren't able to smooth things over with your partner?

Maybe a visit for New Years to talk in person

Michael!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I am so sorry that you could not work things out with your partner. They don't make it easy on us do they?! Did you end up pulling your visa out like letting immigration know? How did that go? I was hoping that you and your partner might of worked things out and have a grant soon since you applied in June.My partner and I are hoping for a grant early in the new year.

All the best!

Hi AUSUSA8892

I'm glad to hear that the grant will be there soon. I remember you and I were the most anxious out of everyone I think lol especially since we we sent ours in within 30 day time period of it all. Unfortunately about 3 weeks after our split I had no choice but to withdraw my application after days of trying to reason with her but she wasn't trying to go any further. As far as that process went oddly enough it was simple... just send in an email saying what happened and they email you back in two days sending you a receipt to confirm your withdraw.

It's been a tough transition but I'm still living so I'm sure in time I will get over it all. Just rough because it's Christmas and my birthday is in a couple of weeks as well. But in any event please keep me posted on your success I'm sure you should at least get something by Feb or March Take care and thank you for your kind words.

You made me cry :-(

I wish you all the best and hope you soon meet your real half. Stay positive and certainly you will find the lost happiness. Stay away from the past and concentrate on the future.

Today I am celebrating my oldest daughter birthday, she turned 5 and unfortunately her father is not present with us.

The hope is still there, thanks God I am still breathing.

Take care wish you all the best

Hi KitKaat

I'm so sorry I didn't mean for this to be sad lol but I do appreciate your kind words and tips for going forward. And happy birthday to the little one and I know that has to be tough without her father there but he's there in spirit and there's nothing like a mother's love so she will be just fine.

It has really been tough these past 4 months as I've cried for almost all of it but as much as it hurts I'm glad she is happy with whatever it is she found and I know my day will come eventually.

Best wishes and happy holidays to you as well and thank you again for all your support

Aw Michael!

I've been on a hiatus from this forum as well, no reason except busy with life and other commitments. We are no longer waiting for our 820 visa and as much as life stops while application is in process....it really does carry on after its approved, lol.

Kinda anti-climatic really. Haha!

You know I feel awful about your situation with your partner. I was really hoping it would work out. It's all very cliched, but time really does heal and your true love bird is in your future xxxx

Take care and Merry Christmas to you too!

And happy belated thanksgiving as well, haha!

Hi Star!!!!

Good to hear from you and yes no reason to be here if all is said and done lol. I just felt it was only right to wish everyone well because you all have been a big help. And yes things didn't go as planned and she moved on "very quickly" so I wished her happiness going forward no matter how hurtful it is and I'm sure in time things will fall into the right place. So good to hear from you and thank you for all your support

Hi Michael,

Glad to see that you're able to be somewhat positive.

Just to clarify, I don't think we need to stop coming here once we are no longer waiting, I just meant that I'm not visiting the place as much because now it's just not the main focus of my life like it was. Hubby and I are finally able to move forward, and that's a good thing, really.

By all means come here as much as you like. I'll still pop in as well. Especially as we get closer to the time we are being assessed for the 801. Don't feel like you aren't welcome xx

Hey Michael,

I've been a silent reader of your story, didn't know what to say but to feel very sad It must have been a difficult time for you which is understandable. Don't forget there is day after night and I'm sure you will find someone who will love you as much as you will love them. The past is the past but it does takes time to get over things as easy as it maybe to say, so take your time and I hope you feel better soon and find the one

Keep up the positive and encouraging attitude and you'll find happiness
GOD does tests his people but they only come out stronger on the other side and then he blesses them with triple of what they lost.
Stay strong!!

Wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year

Kind Regards,
Becky
